Dona Paula, in the suburbs of Panaji , North Goa.
This is one such place you will never regret visiting
anytime/season. One thing that won’t miss your eye is a magnificent view here.
It’s a paradise to watch sky touching sea. The place has convergence of the
River Mandovi, Zuari, and the Arabian Sea. And from here you can see
Mormugao Harbour.
The Dona Paula monument is located on small islet linked to mainland by
small bridge. It’s a lovely site to watch sunset from here. And during monsoon
you can see waves gushing towards rocks and water splashing over jetty.
Besides these there are stalls lined up from where you can
buy cute pajamas, t-shirts, hats and so on. And you can also enjoy
spicy corn bhutta and yummy ice golas flavored from mango, strawberry to kala khatta.
You can spend a quality time with your family and friends here. And if you are lucky enough you might get a chance to join the
crowd dancing and singing and making your beautiful evening livelier.
